The bleeding heart dove, no thats not blood, that is it’s natural feather markings. Probably to look wounded and lead predators away from a nest, just my hypothesis, not my photo either. not the point, the point is I don’t have to get in a car and pollute the air to go see one, i can walk down to the park and look at the pigeons and with one inch of imagination can get a glimps of what one might look like. all rivers make the same gravel.
